Aegis is a legendary, sentient shield, possibly the most powerful in the entire world. She is the “sister” of Ragnarok, having been only mentioned of in the series as of the latest book, and has yet to make her official debut. Like her sister armament, it is most likely true that those who wield the shield will be able to see and talk with the shield’s personified image. Unlike her sister armament, Aegis was made to protect.
