Cilia is a fairy that accompanied Doku during her introduction into the series while they were in search of the homeland of the fairies.

Appearance

Cilia has black ribbons tied around her ankles, a short skirt made of blue flower petals, and braided flower stamens tied around her chest over her bosom. Her long hair is tied into two braids that run down her back. She has red eyes and translucent blue fairy wings.

Personality

Cilia is, like most fairies in Eden, very naive and energetic, much in the same way Pip is. She’s very fond of Doku who is her closest friend and extremely protective of her. Like all fairies she’s attracted to women and becomes easily enamored by the sight of a woman’s bosom, especially Doku’s that she always runs to with glee. She’s quite friendly with those she comes across and usually refrains from using any of her magic under a promise she made to Doku that she’ll always be a good girl and never harm anyone, though if stepped on or if Doku’s in danger she won’t hesitate to use her magic to obliterate those that pushed her.

Like all fairies her glow shifts depending on her mood. When happy or content her glow is blue, when excited or flustered it shifts to yellow, and when angered it turns red.

Development

Cilia is first encountered in Act VII when she and Doku fall from the sky onto Kitten and Daniel’s group. It’s learned that they are searching for the home of the fairies so Cilia can be with her own kind. She and Pip become fast friends, with her and Doku remaining with Daniel’s party so they can spend time together and travel in their company. While very protective of Doku, Cilia quickly warms up to Daniel and the girls and becomes their friend as well. However their time together is short, as during the night Apoch & Astreal sneak up on Cilia while she’s outside and capture her, taking her away with them while everyone is asleep. The next day Apoch & Astreal present one of Cilia’s ribbons to Daniel, claiming a bird caught and ate her during the night. In truth, they had taken Cilia to Twilight in her City of Eden, where the Dark Queen ate her for her magic.

Trivia

• Cilia was originally planned to stay in Daniel’s harem along with Doku, however it was feared that she would steal away Pip’s originality as the two would always be seen together and thought of as one, almost like Luna and Falla. Cilia was instead written out, providing an exit for her character and also showing readers what Apoch and Astreal were capable of with their magic.
