Tess Raylight is the chieftess of Edgewood and mother of Triska. She has only been seen at the beginning of the first book as she grants Daniel and Triska leave to embark on their quest.

Appearance

Tess is described as wearing more masculine clothing rather than dresses and jewelry. She wears steel-tipped boots, worn pants with cuts over the knees, a long sleeve shirt with bronze plated shoulder guards, and a sword sheathed at her hip. She is said to have long black hair and dark brown eyes, however the color of her clothing isn’t specified in the book.
